The doctors at San Pedro Eyecare Associates take pride in our quality service. Our comprehensive eye examination not only evaluate how well you see, but also identify potential eye diseases. Some of this may include glaucoma and macular degeneration.
What to expect from our examination (includes the following assessment, but not limited to): - Visual acuity and refraction to determine your visual status
- Ocular muscle and neurological testing.
- Visual field testing to check your peripheral vision.
- Binocular assessment to make sure your eyes team together. This is essentially important in young children
- Eye pressure testing to screen for risk of developing glaucoma.
- All of our patients are encourage to have their eyes dilated for us to assess your eye health. This will include checking the retina, optic nerve, the macula and ocular vessels.
- If you choose not to have your eyes dilated, you have the option to have your eyes examined with our latest technology, the Optomap retinal exam.
